SANTA ROSA – The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors invites community members to attend and provide input to guide post-fire recovery efforts at a workshop on natural resources and economic development on Tuesday, February 13. Officials from the City of Santa Rosa and other local, state and federal officials will be taking part.
Topics that will be discussed related to Natural Resources include assessment of fire impacts to local watersheds, watershed collaborative report, vegetation management for fire, and current and pending efforts and strategies. Topics to be discussed related to Economic Development include pre-fire economic situation, economic recovery plan draft, and a discussion of strategies to prepare for long term resiliency. Periods for questions and answers will be provided.
