The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is opening the county areas of Bennett Valley and Kenwood areas to limited, restricted re-entry of burned out areas. Only residents and property owners will be allowed entry into these areas. There are two checkpoints for entry. They will be at the Bennett Valley Firehouse at Bennett Valley Road and Sonoma Mountain Road, and at Warm Springs Road and Mound Avenue in Kenwood. Read the attached reference sheet for detailed instructions on re-entry into burn areas.
The areas to be opened include the following roads: Bennett Valley Rd., Old Bennett Ridge Rd., Bardy Lane, Rollo Rd., Savannah Trail, Summerhill, Keiser, Bristol, Lawndale, Via Bella Vista, Via Roble, Via Canada, Kenilworth, Susu Circle, Treehaven Lane and Court, Turtle Creek, Gardner Ranch Rd., Serenity Way, Bennett Vista Place, Mantanzas Creek Lane, Tienne, Hartzell, Enterprise, Schultz, Bristol, Cherry, Thompson, Mountain Meadow, and Wellspring Rd. The roads listed here were taken from a designated county fire map. Small streets, lanes, trails and private roads off these roads may also be included in the reentry zone.
